Kitten Yoga!
Can you find your Zen in the chaos of KITTENS?
KITTEN YOGA is a 1-hour beginner-friendly Gentle Flow Yoga Class with KITTENS!!! Dawn will lead you through these movements while these feline friends test your focus.
These adorable kittens are being showcased by Squishy Face Crew of Virginia and are available for adoption. There will be a Meet & Greet after the class, and we hope to find forever homes for all these sweet kittens. We are also donating a percentage of all ticket sales to the SFCVA to help support them with all of their wonderful rescue work!
The cost is $28 per person, with ages 10 and up welcome.

September Possumz for Reading!
Join us for a morning of storytelling and creativity! We will start with a cozy story time, followed by a hands-on craft activity. But the best part??? Vulture Yoga
ALMOST SOLD OUT!!!
Join Angela and Dusty, a magnificent educational ambassador black vulture, for an all-levels Vulture Yoga class. Angela will teach us about the symbolism and importance of vultures in the indigenous tribes of Virginia.
Experience how awesome it is to share space, breath, and energy with a vulture on or near your Yoga mat. After the Yoga class, enjoy a meet-and-greet with many photo opportunities with Dusty, while learning all about vultures from Heather, a vulture expert and the wildlife rescue and rehabilitator who cares for her.
The cost is $28 per person, ages 10 and up. The sales support the incredible mission of vulture rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care, feeding, enrichment, and veterinary services needed for Dusty. This also helps with the ongoing costs of providing rehabilitation for other vultures brought to Heather.

Weaving with Opossums
Did you know the Algonquin word for opossum is apasum, meaning ‘white-faced dog’? Learn more about the symbolism and importance of opossums for the Native American tribes of Virginia at this fun event!
The cost is $30 and includes the materials to create a traditional pine needle basket weaving, and a fun meet-and-greet with an ambassador opossum. Space is limited.
Awesome Possumz will receive 50% of the registrations to support opossum rescue and rehabilitation.

Puppy Yoga!!!
Ready to find your center while practicing a Gentle Beginner, Low Impact Yoga Class with PUPPIES climbing all over?
Dawn leads this hour-long class with the not-so-helpful assistance of some special furry friends.
After class, there will be a Puppy Meet & Greet held to help find these adorable puppies a forever home!
Cost: $28 per person. 20% of your ticket sales will be donated to Old Dominion Humane Society to help support the amazing rescue work they do!
Each participant will receive a gift bag and puppy playtime!
Seating for this special event is limited, and reservations are required with a full deposit at the time of booking. A $28 cancellation fee for any cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the event!

SOLD OUT: Weaving with a Capybara

Join us with Angela and Yukon Goldie, an adorable capybara, for our inaugural Weaving with a Capybara event at Possum-Bilites in Fredericksburg, VA. Enjoy meeting and petting, Yukon Goldie as you create a beautiful pine needle basket or hanging weaving in the Eastern Woodlands tradition. She is adorable and her fun, relaxed capybara energy will be so amazing. It will be an incredible morning with the “world’s most relaxed animal”. Learn the traditional Eastern Woodlands art of pine needle basket weaving in the presence of Yukon Goldie while also learning about the symbolism and importance of capybaras for the indigenous tribes of South America. Every participant will have a beautiful pine needle weaving, either a basket or a wall hanging, to take home. Enjoy lots of photo opportunities with Yukon Goldie and learn all about capybaras from her companion humans and care providers.
The minimum age is 10, and the cost is $35 per person, which supports Yukon Goldie’s lifelong care and capybara education as well as some of the costs for the weaving materials.

Wild Senses: Hearing
Join Amanda Creasey (Author, Teacher and Writer) and Dawn Deiman (Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher) for a two-hour guided workshop where, through creative writing, mindfulness and meditation, you’ll engage one of your five senses.
This class will focus on the sense of “HEARING”.
Each workshop is co-hosted by an animal ambassador from a Wildlife Rescue or Rehab who will help you tap into your animal sense more deeply.
Your Educational Ambassador Fox will be in attendance to help you explore the sense of “HEARING”, something they are an expert in!
The admission price is $35 per person, along with a donation of an item in need for the wildlife rescue.
(Ages 18+) A percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to Possum-Bilities, along with all the items in need.

‘Possum Yoga
Looking for a gentle introduction to the world of yoga and how our favorite marsupials can relate?
Dawn will guide you through our favorite ‘Possum poses and fun facts about these clever creatures. Lighthearted, fun, and even a few laughs while you Zen! This beginner yoga class is available to ages 10 years old and up.
